Sometimes it seems like almost everyone around me is an artist in some way or another, my dad is an oil painter, my brother tends to work in pencil, chalk and ink, my sister-in-law does digital photography (and plays some crazy brass instrument, that's a form of art too right?) and my fiancee paints, draws and takes the occasional photo to boot.

Maybe it it's time I gave the whole thing a go, but where to start?That's the real question...where to start?
